Oh the weather is boiling
And inside our staff is toiling
And if you’ve no place to go
See a show! See a show! See a show!
It’s time to celebrate! While the weather may be sweltering, Georgia Shakespeare is looking forward to the egg nog and Christmas lights of December. So much so that we’re celebrating Christmas in July! What better way to celebrate the holidays early than with an Early Bird incentive!
For 48 hours, Georgia Shakespeare will host Christmas in July. During this time a limited number of tickets to A Christmas Story will be on sale for $20 a piece. This is the LOWEST price of the season and we only have a limited number available for each show. The sale will begin at 10 am on July 1st and end at 10 am on July 3rd.
Because we’re so pumped for A Christmas Story, we are extending the Box Office hours for 48 hours. For 48 hours you can call or visit the Box Office and purchase tickets online! That’s right, if you want to call us at 4 am to purchase tickets a representative will be on the line to take care of you!
On top of this early Christmas present to you, we will also be hosting power hours. During those power hours, select incentives such as $1 Sword in the Stone tickets will be posted on our blog, Facebook and Twitter pages. Follow us there for the inside scoop on the power hours and to follow the Box Office and Georgia Shakespeare company on their 48 hour adventure!
This classic American holiday tale hits the GS stage December 7 to the 24th. In this tale, Ralphie Parker wants just one thing for Christmas, just one thing: An Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-Shot Range Model BB Rifle with a Compass in the Stock. But can Ralphie survive the last couple weeks before Christmas when he’ll endure bunny pajamas, double-dog dares, and those six dreaded words, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid”?
